Deployment

Typical Business Mapper deployment requires a web-server for Live Connect.  The Live Connect Portal may also be hosted on Microsoft Azure.  Microsoft Azure has a very good uptime record, is cost-effective, and highly scalable. 

Another advantage of Microsoft Azure is unlimited bandwidth going into its data center, this bandwidth is impractical for on-premise deployments.

The availability of the Live Connect Portal is critical, especially when a large number of field personnel are deployed to execute a survey. The cost of lost work-days can get really high on server down-time.

Small-Medium Hardware Configuration
